I denna uppsats analyseras åtta artiklar publicerade av fyra stora, svenska dagstidningar. Syftet med analysen är att analysera välgörenhetsorganisationen Röda Korsets kriskommunikationsstrategier under organisationskrisen där styrelseordförande Bengt Westerbergs arvode är i nyhetsmediernas fokus. De frågor som uppsatsen besvarar är: Hur framställs Röda Korset i dagspressens rapportering om Bengt Westerbergs arvode? Hur tycks Röda Korsets inställning, i artiklarna, till krisen vara? Använder organisationen sig av någon kriskommunikationsstrategi? I analysen av artiklarna används van Djiks kritiska diskursanalys som analysmetod. De teorier som resultatet sen kopplas till är teorier om organisationskriser och kriskommunikationsstrategier, det vill säga apologia, mediedrevet och dess egenskaper samt diskursteori.

Med anledning av intensifieringen av de stridigheter som uppstod i Somalia i början av 1990-talet flydde närmare en miljon människor landet och undan krisen. Både i den amerikanska delstaten Minnesota och i Östergötlands län i Sverige har antalet somalier sammantaget ökat. Hur gruppen klarat sig på arbetsmarknaden i respektive region skiljer sig betydligt då andelen arbetande somalier i Minnesota är betydligt högre än i Östergötland. Uppsatsen syftar till att kartlägga arbetsmarknadssituationen för utrikes födda somalier i Östergötland samt att redovisa effekterna av den svenska arbetsmarknadens funktionssätt på den här gruppen genom en jämförelse med hur det förhåller sig i Minnesota.De båda populationerna i respektive region liknar varandra på många sätt även om de till antalet är betydligt fler i Minnesota. Graden av formell utbildning är generellt sett låg och många somalier är vid ankomsten analfabeter, det har observerats att somalier i Minnesota möjligen har en något högre utbildningsnivå än de i Östergötland vilket kan förklara en del av skillnaden i sysselsättningsgrad.

The aim of this study is to analyse the sexual power relations in contemporary urban novels of Swedish female writers.I have identified a discourse in these novels as a heteronormative matrix which power is ruled by norms and assumptions about normality in both the heterosexual and lesbian stories. For this purpose I have related to Ivar B. Neumanns theory that individuals always find a way to confront the discourse by three different strategies. These strategies are used in my study as tools to organise these novels, because it is possible to see that the protagonists find at least one of these strategy?s to her protest.The first strategy I studied was the docile.

This thesis is about the interaction between composition, notation and interpretation and what occurs between the fields with an extended notation.The purpose of my thesis is to examine the possibilities tothoroughly describe and map the sounding samples through composition prototypes.The thesis has a qualitative approach, and the empirical material consists of different documents about notation and from interviews with musicians and students about the instruments used in the thesis.It also consists of 17 compositions recorded at Örebro University School of Music as an appendix.The analysis shows that the context in which the symbols are found, play an important role in performing them.
